Purple rocks

During my last few rock hunts for some reason purple rocks see to have been calling my name. I am starting to wonder what color I will find next. The picture below I took to compare the purple rock to  pink and a blue because if only one color is shown you just never know if the camera will show the true color.

This is a soft lavender agate. It is the only one I have so far. But I know if there is one there can be more. I will keep hunting happily!
Perhaps you wonder why I break so many of my rocks open. I do not have any rock tools beside a few hammers and I am always curious what the true color of a rock is. Often the outside gives you very little clue what is going to be inside. In this case it did look blueish and translucent. (I think it is the same rock I find at 7:50 in the video of the last post.)
