Lately we have had fun collecting these picturesque rocks. It is amazing how often we spot dentritic rocks lately. A few years ago I would not have known that we could find moss agate around here but now it is quite easy to.
The above and below are the same rock from different angles. It must be the most colorful rock we have ever found.
The above rock is the same as the one below. I had a clue that it might be interesting if I would break it open, but never did I expect to find a rose hidden inside this agate.
This stuff is why rockhounding is never boring. There will always be these special rewards.
We often find red and yellow jasper but red and grey is rare.

I am not sure if these rocks only appear cracked on the outside but they are fascinating.
